Lulang named "China's most beautiful outdoor town"
The "Tibet Winter Travel" promotional activity and award ceremony for "China's Most Beautiful Outdoor Town" were held on the evening of October 27 in Lulang Township, Nyingchi City, southwest China's Tibet. During the event, Chinese National Geography magazine awarded the title of "China's Most Beautiful Outdoor Town" to Lulang.
Lulang International Tourism Township is located in Bayi District of Nyingchi. 80 percent of the area is covered by forests. National Highway No.318 runs through the whole area, and it is an experimental zone for eco-tourism in Tibet. According to reports, the Lulang Township is one of south China's Guangdong Province Aid Tibet projects, and was opened in May 2016. The completion of the township has played a positive role in driving the development of tourism in Nyingchi, creating a boutique tourism route in southeast Tibet and helping to build Tibet as a world tourism destination.
