China's most beautiful township goes to Tibet
The Lulang Township in Nyingchi, southwest China's Tibet was awarded "China's most beautiful township" title by the Chinese Natioanl Geography magazine at the night of Oct. 27 when a “winter tour in Tibet” promotion event and the title awarding ceremony was held in the township.
As a demonstration area of ecological tourism in Tibet, the Lulang international tourist township is located in the Bayi district of Nyingchi, where the forest coverage rate reaches 80 percent and the national No. 318 Road runs through. Under the aid of south China's Guangdong Province, the township was open to public in May, 2016, and contributes a lot to tourism development of Nyingchi and the building of a world tourist destination of Tibet.
