The 17th Tour of Qinghai Lake to kick off in July
On May 22nd, the press conference for the 17th Tour of Qinghai Lake international road bicycle racing was held at the Media Center in Beijing.
It is reported that the race will take place between July 22nd and August 4th in northwest China's Qinghai, Gansu, and Ningxia, with the opening ceremony held at Haidong City in Qinghai on July 21st. The total race distance is 3,671 km, lasting 14 days and 13 race courses, with one rest day.
The race will pass Haidong City, Xining City, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, and Zhangye City, Jinchang City, Wuwei City, and Lanzhou New District of Gansu Province, as well as Yinchuan City and Zhongwei City of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. The closing ceremony is slated for August 4th in Lanzhou City of Gansu Province. This year's race distance is the longest ever.
22 professional intercontinental teams with 154 cyclists from 17 countries and regions will compete in the racing.
