The mobile APP software (Tibetan version) for The Tibetan Medicine Dictionary can now be downloaded for free. The APP includes two main parts: Tibetan medicine and Tibetan medication.

Tibetan medicine includes treatment, diagnosis and other methods; Tibetan medication includes translation of terms such as mineral drugs, animal drugs and others. 

The dictionary, released at the 90^th anniversary of the establishment of the Tibetan Hospital in TAR, is an authoritative Tibetan medicine reference book completed by experts in the field of traditional Tibetan medicine.

It includes explanation and introduction on terms related to Tibetan medicine, and other content.

 "The mobile APP version aims to provide means for the interested to jointly learn, better promote and help inherit the Tibetan medicine,” said Phurjung Tsering, director of the National Medicine Clinical Research Base of the Tibetan Hospital in TAR.  

Besides, a mobile APP about common diseases on the Plateau will be developed. Users can search about the cause, prevention and clinical treatment of a certain disease after it is completed.
