China-Nepal amateur tennis game starts in Lhasa

The China-Nepal amateur tennis invitation tournament will be open on July 12 and 13 at tennis hall of the race course in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region, according to Tibet Tennis Association.

China's Tibet and Nepal share a long history of friendly exchanges. In recent years, the Tibet Autonomous Region has frequent high-level communications with Nepal, steadily promoting mutual cooperation in various field including economy, trade, transportation, culture, tourism, sports and youth.

In recent years, Tibet has blew up a tennis fever. The related staff of the Tibet Autonomous Region Sports Bureau said, "The reason for holding China-Nepal amateur tennis invitation tournament is to provide a communication platform for the tennis amateurs in China and Nepal where they can make friends through tennis.

Is it reported that the club team from Nepal's National Lawn Tennis Association will compete with three other group teams from China’s Tibet, Yunnan and Sichuan in this tournament.
