Tibet on fast track to facilitate travelers
The increasingly improved transportation infrastructure has allowed travelers to spend less time on road as they tour in Tibet, according to an official from the tourism administration of southwest China's Tibet.
Wang Songping, head of the Tourism Development Committee of Tibet, introduced at a tourism promotion conference that Tibet's highways, railways and airports have improved continuously to facilitate travelers' trips and meet their need to move fast on their way to scenic spots.
The national Highway 318 is famous for the amazing scenery alongside it and is known as the "Landscape Avenue of Chinese". Nowadays, as most part of the Lhasa-Nyingchi Highway has been open to traffic, it will be more convenient for travelers to pay a visit to Nyingchi.
At present, Tibet is strengthening the tourism cooperation between Lhasa, Shigatse, Shannan, and Nyingchi by integrating the advantages of tourism products in the four cities to explore the experience value of the region's tourism products.
