The 15th day of the fourth Tibetan lunar month is a day which commemorates the birth, enlightenment, and parinirvana of Sakyamuni Buddha, the founder of Buddhism, and on that day, Tibetans ushered in the Sagadawa Festival. Sagadawa refers to the fourth Tibetan lunar month in Tibetan language, which is a holy month and is of great significance for followers of Tibetan Buddhism.
