Bringing Traditional Tibetan Nursery Rhyme into Kindergarten
On Friday morning, a themed activity was held in a kindergarten of Chenguan District, Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region to mark the 2018“World Heritage Day”and publicize intangible cultural heritage among children.

Kids sing traditional Tibetan Nursery Rhyme in a kindergarten of Chenguan District, Lhasa, capital city of Tibet Autonomous Region.
This activity has made the art more vigorous by teaching children to learn Tibetan nursery rhyme and releasing CDs of “Traditional Tibetan Nursery Rhyme”.
Ngawang Tenzin, vice director of Tibet Cultural Arts Research Center hands out CDs of “Traditional Tibetan Nursery Rhyme”to the children.
“As an bright pearl of Chinese culture, Tibetan nursery rhyme has been listed as the third batch of regional intangible cultural heritage. Compared with carton movies and tools, It is irreplaceable for children for its bright tunes and simple language. It also serves as an important partner for kid to develop good personality and habits during their childhood, ” said Ngawang Tenzin, vice director of Tibetan Cultural Arts Research Center.
