Nepal says to send delegation to China on transit transport protocol
KATHMANDU, July 5 (Xinhua) -- Nepal's cabinet has approved the proposal of sending a high-level government delegation to China to negotiate on Protocol to Agreement on Transit Transport signed between the two sides in March 2016, a senior Nepali official said here on Thursday.
The cabinet approved the proposal on Wednesday "so that important agreement between two sides is implemented as soon as possible," Sher Bahadur Tamang, minister for law, justice and parliamentary affairs, told Xinhua on Thursday.
According to Nepal's Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supply, the two sides are scheduled to hold negotiation on the protocol this month in Beijing.
