Potala Palace free for visitors since November
Tibet Autonomous Region will launch new preferential policies for "Winter travel to Tibet" from November 1, when visitors can visit the Potala Palace for free from November 1 to March 15 next year, according to the region’s Tourism Development Committee.
It is learned that thanks to the policy, from November 1 to March 15 next year, the region's state-owned 3A level above (including 3A level) scenic spots except monasteries are all for free tours, and the state-owned 3A level below and non-state A level spots in off-season (November 1 to April 30 next year ) will be half-price.
