Jiuzhaigou scenic spot temporarily closed during National Day holiday
According to the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Spot Administration of southwest China's Sichuan Province, the Jiuzhaigou scenic spot will be temporarily closed during this year's National Day holiday.
A person in charge with the Jiuzhaigou Scenic Spot Administration said that last year's earthquake and this summer's flood disaster had damaged the scenic area in some extent, so that the scenic area would take temporary closure measures from July 1.
The opening date is not clear now. Earlier, the administration issued a notice to travel agencies and tourists that the ticket price of the scenic area will be lowered in the high season after its reopening.
