4000-meter-high Marathon challenge launched in SW China
On the morning of August 21st, the 2nd Annual “Running to Kangdese Peak” Marathon Challenge launched at Burang Port, southern Ngari Prefecture, Tibet, with 300 players from China, India, and Nepal competing.
This challenge has a length of 10 km, on track over 4000 meters above sea level.
Burang County has rich tourism resources including Kangrinboqe and Mapam Yumtso Lake. The first “Running to Gangdis” Marathon Challenge took place in 2017.
