Visitors exceed 3 million at Chaka Salt Lake
At 10:28 am on September 16th, the number of tourists at Chaka Salt Lake District in Qinghai Province surpassed three million for the first time, achieving a record.
Ever since Chaka Salt Lake opened to the public, visitors have continued to increase. In 2015, the district received 1.3 million tourists; in 2016, visitors reached 1.9 million. In 2017, visitors exceeded 2.7 million. By 2018, there was one million tourists in just 21 days, reaching a new record. Chaka Lake is known as China's "Mirror of the Sky."
