Damshung, which means “selected pastures” in Tibetan language, is located in the central part of Tibet Autonomous Region at the junction of southern and northern Tibet. It is also the northern gateway to Lhasa and the only purely animal husbandry county of Lhasa City. Nomadic culture here is relatively intact and preserved.Recently, a show exhibiting ethnic clothing was put on here.
