7-magnitude quake hits Kermadec Islands: CENC
A 7-magnitude earthquake hit the Kermadec Islands, New Zealand at 12:18 p.m. Monday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 120 km, was monitored at 31.95 degrees south latitude and 179.25 degrees west longitude, the center said in a statement.
