Direct flights linking China with 45 Belt and Road countries
China's Civial Aviation Administration recently said at a press conference that China has signed bilateral agreements on air transportation with 62 Belt and Road countries, including Russia, Indonesia, Malaysia and Egypt.
People's Daily reports that China and 45 of those countries are now linked by 5,100 direct flights weekly.
China is aiming to boost connectivity and strengthen cooperation with Belt and Road countries through civil aviation, according to Zhang Qing, Deputy Inspector for the administration.
