Mt. Qomolangma Culture and Tourism Festival opens
The 16th Mt. Qomolangma Culture and Tourism Festival held by Shigatse City, Tibet and Heilongjiang province was opened on August 26.
The festival this year boasts creative activities with netizens, including inviting net celebrities to experience Shigatse’s unique intangible cultural heritages, tasty food and breathtaking scenery, as well as spread these events through multimedia such as wechat and microblog.
It is learned that the festival this year was jointly held bu Shigatse and Heilongjiang province in northeast China. The festival lasts a week in the main venue in Shigatse and would hold Heilongjiang special session performances.
