Themed as "Pure land on earth, intoxicating Nyingchi", the 16th Peach Blossom Festival opened on Thursday morning in Gala peach blossom scenic area in Bayi District of Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region.

Ms. Wang, a tourist from Sichuan Province said that it is her first time to view the peach flowers in Nyingchi City. The blooming flowers here bearing magnificent charm which are very special. While, Mr.Qi, a photographer from Hunan Photographers Association has twice. "The peach flowers here are quite different from that of regions south of the Yangtze River. The scenery that peach flowers flourishing at the foot of snow-capped mountains is exclusive in Nyingchi, Tibet. It is definitely a worthy trip," said Mr. Qi.

Despite the art performance in the opening ceremony, different types of activities including photography exhibition, folk sports activity and some experiencing activities are expected to be launched for the tourists.
