New Year’s party held by Tibetan class in NE China

On January 1, 2019, in Liaoyang No.1 Middle School of northeast China’s Liaoning province, a celebrating party was held by the Tibetan class to welcome the New Year, attracting lots of students and teachers joining in the celebration.

During the party, a series of performances were staged, including Tibetan dances, Beijing Opera, guitar playing and singing, poetry reciting and etc, showing the talent, skill and vitality of Tibetan students.

It is understood that the Liaoyang No. 1 Middle School was built in March, 1949, and the school opened the Tibetan class in autumn, 1985. over these years, it has been awarded "national model unit of national unity and progress" by the State Council for as more as five times.
