49 young footballers from Tibet reach Kunming for winter training
In October this year, with the Lhasa Chengtou Football Club's successful advancement into the Chinese Football Association Division two League, Tibet's first professional football was born.
As the first professional football club in Tibet, the Lhasa Chengtou Football Club attaches great importance to youth training. Arrangements for the club's youth training teams began in March of this year, and after a multi-leveled selection process, they have successfully formed U-13, U-14, and U-15 youth training teams. All 49 members of the youth training teams departed for Kunming, capital city of southwest China's Yunnan Province, on November 26 to spend two months in winter training.
