Who can enjoy priority for coronavirus vaccine in Lhasa?

It is learned that starting from January 1, 2021, Lhasa City will set up 26 COVID-19 vaccination sites in all its counties and districts. In accordance with the principles of informed consent and voluntary vaccination, priority will be given to eight types of high-risk groups aged between 18-59 years for vaccination.

The eight high-risk groups:

(1) Cold chain and transportation-related employees (including cargo transportation, cold chain loading and unloading, handling, transportation personnel, and relative personnel in shopping malls, supermarkets, and farmers’ markets)

(2) Frontline medical and health personnel (including epidemic prevention personnel, emergency and fever clinics, and other medical and health personnel)

(3) Workers in centralized isolated places

(4) People who go abroad for business or private purposes

(5) City operation guarantee personnel, such as urban public transportation officers, urban large-scale wholesale market workers, and food service personnel

(6) Frontline public security officers (auxiliary police), armed police, firefighters, and community workers

(7) Government agencies staff, pensioners, sanitation workers, funeral workers, and communications-related personnel

(8) Other people who may be at high risk for exposure
