There is yet another beautiful scenery in the Chengguan District of Lhasa, capital of China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Creative works of graffiti art on the theme of environmental protection and garbage classification have appeared on the pavement in Ngaqen Village.

Recently, youth volunteers from the Lhasa City Communist Youth League and Ngaqen Village jointly launched a publicity campaign for drawing on manhole covers on the theme of “creative graffiti and garbage classification”.
 

Volunteers drew various patterns on manhole covers and added text to promote the concept of garbage classification to residents. In order to allow residents to better implement garbage classification, volunteers distributed brochures on the topic on site to publicize garbage classification knowledge with passers-by. On the day of the event, a total of 200 brochures and 85 eco-friendly bags were distributed.

An official from Ngaqen Village stated that the garbage classification project is in full progress and requires the participation of the whole society. Through such activities, they can further encourage volunteers and community residents to participate in garbage classification work, increase the awareness and participation rate of garbage classification, and most importantly, beautify the community environment.
