A batch of key literature donated to Tibet Autonomous Region Library

Recently, Mr. Changlogya Phuntsok Namgyal donated part of his collection of local Tibetan literature to the Tibet Autonomous Region Library. The donations cover a total of 76 kinds and 88 volumes of books and periodicals. The relevant person in charge of the library issued the Tibet Autonomous Region Library Collection Certificate to Mr. Changlogya Phuntsok Namgyal.

It is reported that before his retirement, Mr. Changlogya Phuntsok Namgyal was the director of the Compilation Office of the General Office of the Tibet Autonomous Region Government. Most of his recent donations are the Tibet Statistical Yearbook he has collected for many years, which has important preservation, research and utilization value.

Mr. Changlogya Phuntsok Namgyal said that the Tibet Autonomous Region Library is the best collector of these documents. The director of the Tibet Autonomous Region Library, Tserten Butri, expressed his respect and gratitude to Mr. Changlogya Phuntsok Namgyal, and said that these documents will not only enrich the library’s collection, but also benefit the readers. At the same time, he promised that the library would take good care of and make full use of these documents. After processing and sorting the documents in the near future, it will be put on the shelves as soon as possible for readers to borrow.
