Xizang Dampa Rabten Thangka Art School: Promoting Cultural Inheritance Through 46-Year Free Education

Xizang Dampa Rabten Thangka Art School was founded in 1980. Over 46 years, it has trained more than 500 Thangka art talents free of charge.

Currently, the school has more than 80 students, with a schooling period of 8 to 10 years. Guided by the school motto of “being a good person before learning art”, they approach their craft with dedication and a pure mind, creating works of profound artistry while carrying forward the legacy of the Miantang School of Thangka. The employment rate of graduates is nearly 99%, ensuring the continuous inheritance and development of Thangka culture.
