This year marks the 70th anniversary of the opening of the Sichuan-Xizang Highway and Qinghai-Xizang Highway. Recently, the Seminar on “Carrying Forward the Spirit of ‘Two Roads’ and Forging a Strong Sense of Community for the Chinese Nation” was held in Beijing. In the long corridor outside the conference hall, a photography exhibition themed “Stories Behind Lens -- Photography Exhibition at the 70th Anniversary of ‘Two Roads’ Open to Traffic” has been arranged. Through pictures, visitors could learn about the connotation of the “Two Roads” Spirit, the difficult process of the construction and the achievements of transportation development in Xizang.
