Recently, Panchen Erdeni Chos-kyi rGyal-po, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, vice president of the Buddhist Association of China and president of its Tibet Branch visited the exhibition on the theme of “Forging Ahead in the New Era” in the Beijing Exhibition Center.

After the visit, Panchen Rinpoche said that the great achievements made by our country in the past decade are not attributed to a single aspect but to comprehensive development in all aspects. The fruits of development are not limited to one certain ethnic group or place, but benefit the entire Chinese nation.

“I went to some border villages in Lhoka City this year. Sometimes we can see only one village for hundreds of kilometers, but they have access to electricity, water, roads and the Internet. People have their own private cars and they are well provided with daily necessities.” In the past ten years, I have witnessed these achievements and been honored to be a participant. I am confident that I will carry forward the spirit of hard work of the Chinese people, carry forward the fine tradition of the Tibetan Buddhist community in China of loving the country and promoting Buddhism, protecting the country and benefiting the people, and contribute to the realization of the second centenary Goal and the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
