On November 9th, after five years of construction, the 30 thousand sqm Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum has completed construction for its secondary phase hall, and the museum is ready to open, which means China’s largest museum of Tibetan medicine has now finished its renovation and expansion.
The secondary hall uses the Silk Road and the cultural history of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as a timeline, highlighting the religious, architectural, economic, and artistic elements of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and displaying the origin, inheritance, rise, and prosperity of the various cultural elements’ merging and peaceful development over the last few thousand years.
