Bathing in hot springs is a most popular way to recuperate, and it is also a form of entertainment that people often choose in their spare time. In recent years, relying on abundant geothermal resources, Tibet Autonomous Region have continuously explored the efficacy and cultural connotation of hot springs, combined hot spring culture with wellness and tourism, and vigorously developed the "hot spring +" industry, driving local people to increase their incomes and helping drive rural revitalization.

Qomo Hot Spring, located in Maku Village, Caqu Township, Biru County, Nagqu City, has a history of more than 1,800 years and is renowned in relieving gout and stomach problems. In 2019, Maku Village built the Qomo Hot Spring Health Center and established the Qomo Hot Spring Farmers and Herdsmen Professional Cooperative, covering swimming, catering, black tent bathing, construction and other projects. The per capita net income reached 11,680 yuan.
