The Qinghai Wolfberry Production and Sales Matchmaking Fair ended on December 21, 2018 in Delingha City, Haixi Prefecture, northwest China's Qinghai Province.
Qinghai Province is the second largest wolfberry planting base in China. According to statistics, there are currently more than 100,000 mu (1 mu = 0.165 acres) in planting area for organic wolfberries in Haixi Prefecture, which is the largest organic wolfberry planting area in China. The region's annual EU-certified organic wolfberry exports also rank first in China.
It is reported that Qinghai Province will make use of advantageous networks and operations of the national supply and marketing cooperatives, establishing a Qinghai wolfberry production and sales platform to further increase its brand creation. It will also accelerate the construction of a product quality standards system, expand production and processing of organic wolfberries, and promote the industry of Qinghai wolfberry to take a green road of recycling and sustainable development.
