Butter flower, as one of the “Three Uniques of Art” (butter flower, mural and embroidery) in Ta’er Monastery, Qinghai province, was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list in 2006.

Pavilions, birds and beasts made of butter leap above the flower stand, and two buddhas with white face look in a serene demeanor.
