Recently, a team composed of Chinese painters, photographers and artists from Italy, South Korea, Mongolia, Congo (DRC), Poland, and Russia visited Nyingchi, Tibet. The team visited local traditional villages, experienced Tibetan food and on-site creations.

Independent artist Wang Guofeng said that his previous impression of Tibet was a desert plateau, but he was surprised to see the landscape here when he came to Nyingchi. "This time, I also saw that the traditional Tibetan culture and art inheritance and protection work has been done very well."

Mbelo Mantinga Herve of Congo (Kinshasa) said that many of the things he saw were original. Taking Tibetan thangka painting as an example, the thangka painters are very patient and skilled in color selection and creation. He believes that Tibet attaches great importance to history and culture, and at the same time, Tibet is a suitable place for tourism. People are very hospitable and they always make it easy for foreigners to understand their culture.

Wieslaw Borkowski, a young European artist, introduced that he is from Poland, and his hometown is also a mountainous area. It is very cordial to see the beautiful mountains of Nyingchi. He said: "We came here by train, and I can feel that Tibet has changed a lot. This trip to Tibet is very exciting, and I also have a Tibetan name, Baima Weise."
