Bangoin County: A Shining Pearl on the Qinghai-Xizang Plateau
Bangoin County, Nagqu City, the Xizang Autonomous Region, is surrounded by Namtso and Serling Tso, two lakes on the plateau, forming a magnificent lake view. According to the data of the first China Census for Water, there are a total of 35 lakes with an area greater than 1 square kilometer in Bangoin County, and 112 rivers crisscrossing the county. These rich river and lake resources have brought unique ecological advantages and tourism resources to Bangoin County. Therefore, Bangoinr County is also honored as the “Bangoin with multiple lakes”.
