Tibet Research and Tourism Seminar held in Lhasa
Recently, the Tibet Research and Tourism Seminar was held in Lhasa. Representatives from the Tibet Autonomous Region Tourism Association and experts from the Institute of Tibetan Plateau Research of Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Tibet Autonomous Region Academy of Social Sciences, and Tibet University attended the event.
During the event, representatives of the Tibet Autonomous Region Special Tourism Association gave a detailed introduction to the products of Tibet research and tourism routes from ecology, sports, art, folklore, astronomy and geography, and patriotism education. Experts and representatives at the meeting also expressed their opinions and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the current situation and trends of research and tourism development in Tibet.
Since the beginning of this year, under the guidance of the Tourism Development Department of the Tibet Autonomous Region, the Special Tourism Association in the region and member travel agencies have held special tourism activities in the region, such as kayaking research trips, Junba fishing village customs experience and research trips, etc., which helped promote "local tourism" to become an important force in accelerating the "internal circulation of Tibet's tourism economy".
