The ancient town of Dukezong in Shangri-la County of Deqen Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southwest China’s Yunnan Province has the most well-preserved and largest Tibetan-style folk houses in China. The town was once an essential stop on the Yunnan-Tibet Tea Horse Road.
