The annual sessions of the National People's Conference (NPC) and National Committee of the Chinese People's Consultative Conference (CPPCC) opened in March 2019 in Beijing. Deputies to the 13th NPC and members of 13th CPPCC National Committee from southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) shouldered the trust and confidence of all people there and participated in the meetings to fulfill their duties, discuss state affairs, and make suggestions for economic and social development of the region.
