On August 6, the 11th Council of the Buddhist Association of China’s Tibet Branch held its 4th President Meeting in Lhasa, southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region. Panchen Erdeni Choskyi Gyalpo, a member of the Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) , vice-president of the Buddhist Association of China, and president of the association’s Tibet branch, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech.
