This line from a 1993 poem continues to echoes deep within the hearts the students from Ngari and the staff at the Kong Fansen Spirit Education Base in Liaocheng, Shandong Province. There, a grove of red willows—transplanted all the way from the plateau of the Ngari Prefecture, Xizang—stands as a living testament to the enduring legacy of Kong Fansen’s spirit.
