The Gorchom circle dance is one of the three traditional Tibetan folk dances, signifying “circle singing and dancing” in Tibetan. It has its origins in Chamdo, Xizang, with a history that can be traced back to the Tubo period. Recently, at Tianjin Square along the Lancang River in Chamdo, people from various ethnic groups came to participate in this vibrant celebration, enjoying a delightful summer evening.
