Recently, Wenjia Pasture in Haiyan County, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, welcomed a group of teenagers from Hong Kong who participated in a cultural exchange program. During this event, they engaged with local youth, prepared Tibetan food tsampa and performed the Gorchom circle dance. Through these interactions, they gained a deeper understanding of each other’s cultures and forged friendships as sweet as tsampa across thousands of miles.

Wu Si’en and Zheng Weiyi of Yan Chai Hospital Lan Chi Pat Memorial Secondary School also made new local friends, exchanged contact information, and agreed to stay in touch in future. They felt that everyone was closely connected together, just like pomegranate seeds.
