The Tibetan New Year (also known as Losar) is approaching. On the streets of Lhasa, Xizang, farmers and herdsmen are busy sewing colorful prayer flags, one of the essential special items for Losar. During the Tibetan New Year, Tibetan people will choose an auspicious day to replace the prayer flags on their roofs and pray for a bumper harvest and good fortune in the coming year.
