Starting from Xining, Qinghai Province, in the east and ending in Lhasa, Xizang Autonomous Region, in the west, the Qinghai-Xizang Highway has magnificent sceneries along the way.

You can see prairies, salt lakes, gobi, snow mountains, deserts, and others.

Driving down from Golmud in Qinghai Province to Xizang Autonomous Region and passed Kunlun Mountains, Hoh Xil, Sanjiangyuan and Yanshiping, Tanggula Mountain, and other places, Tibetan antelopes, goas, and wild Tibetan donkeys sometimes appeared on both sides of the Qinghai-Xizang Highway and looked for food leisurely.
