At the harvest site of Kemai community in Changzhub Town, Nedong district, Lhoka city, Tibet Autonomous Region, wheat grains are loaded by tractors to the warehouse. After being carefully selected and coated, the seeds will be sold by order to the city's six counties along the river and other cities in the autonomous region.

Kemai community is a seed breeding base at the city level, and has realized mechanization in the whole chain of plowing, planting and harvesting. “The price of the seed is more than double that of ordinary wheat grain. The quality of our seed is ensured, and their market is stable. They can guarantee harvest even during the period of the Covid-19 epidemic,” said Penba, a resident of the Kemai community.
