College entrance examination starts in Tibet

On July, 7, the 2020 college entrance exam (known as Gaokao) officially began, and Tibetan students entered the examination room.

The 2020 National Standardized Examination for Enrollment of General Colleges and Universities was held in Tibet from July 7 to 9. A total of 32,973 candidates (excluding counterparts from vocational colleges) registered for the examination, including 31,939 general candidates and 1,034 military and police candidates.

This year, the Tibet General College Entrance Examination set up a total of 1,162 examination sites in 32 testing locations across 10 testing regions.

All examination rooms are arranged in accordance with national standardized examinations, with a total of more than 6,000 supervisors and examination staff. A total of 17 disabled candidates, including two blind candidates joined the exam.
