As the largest import exhibition in Xizang over a decade, it has great significance for building Lhasa into a central city open to South Asia and fostering foreign trade development.

It is reported that this exhibition is the first comprehensive international exhibition themed on “import” in Lhasa. It is not only an event for the exhibition and selling of commodities and commerce and trade negotiation but also a platform on which people can communicate, cooperate, and become closer.

In the exhibition hall, there are five theme pavilions: Nepal, Serbia, Malaysia, Thailand, and Mongolia; two special exhibition areas: comprehensive services of foreign trade and fine goods in Lhasa; and 279 international standard booths. The exhibition area is up to 8,000 square meters with more than 1,000 kinds of products exhibited and sold, including handicrafts, consumer goods, food and beverage, household products, cultural and creative products, electronic products, and clothes. The exhibition is full of products from different countries, such as Nepalese handicrafts, Serbian coffee, Malaysian food, and Thai dried fruits. It will surely bring a feast of imported products to the citizens of Lhasa. During the exhibition, multiple activities would be carried out such as the investment promotion meetings, cross-border e-commerce exchanges, and artistic performances.
