At 9:50 on October 28, as Flight TV9976 stably landed at Xigaze Heping Airport, the Xigaze Heping-Chengdu Shuangliu-Shijiazhuang air route was officially opened. This is the first regular passenger air route from Xigaze Heping Airport to Shijiazhuang operated by Tibet Airlines.

The opening of the Xigaze-Chengdu Shuangliu-Shijiazhuang air route builds an air passage from Xigaze to the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei city cluster, greatly reducing the space-time distance. It will promote regional economic cooperation, and contacts, communication, and blending of different ethnic groups, and meet the diversified and personalized travel demands of passengers. Additionally, it will promote the formation of the air route network of Xigaze Heping Airport.
