King Gesar is a hero whom the Tibetan people are proud of.

The epic Gesar with him as the protagonist is the longest one in the world. It has been sung and passed down orally for over 1,000 years.

Golok Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province, located at the source of the Yellow River, has a special position in the epic Gesar.

In Tarlag County, Golok Prefecture, there is the Lion and Dragon Palace of King Gesar newly repaired.
