Drolma Langcuo, located at the foot of the Chumdola Mountain on the northeast slope of Mt. Nyainqentanglha with an altitude of more than 4,300 m, is 36 km away from Lhorong County.

It is the “mother lake” of Lhorong County. In Tibetan, the meaning of Drolma Langcuo is “Goddess Tara Lake”. Drolma Langcuo is 5 km long. With a maximum width of 1.5 km, it is composed of 21 lakes of different sizes.

Looking down from above, it is like an elegant goddess sitting in the mountains. She crosses her left leg and stretches her right leg.

When you walk around the lake, under the background of blue sky and green trees, the lake water is blue in different shades and looks like turquoise scattered on the earth.
