On the evening of June 11, the Ya’an-Kangding High-Speed Luding Dadu River Bridge in southwest China’s Sichuan Province was awarded the Gustav Lindenthal Gold Award at the 36th annual International Bridge Conference (IBC) held in Maryland State of America.　　

According to the judges for the IBC, the bridge has made outstanding achievement in technical and material innovation, aesthetics, environmental protection, and social impact, which makes it stand out from worldwide excellent bridge projects.
