The Yushu Prefecture Museum is one of the 10 landmark buildings reconstructed after the earthquake in Yushu.

It is divided into the Preface Hall, Nature Exhibition Area, Humanity Exhibition Area, and Temporary Exhibition Hall.

By means such as physical specimens, the museum displays vividly the wildlife, grasslands, and forests of Sanjiangyuan Area and Hoh Xil, as well as the history, architectures, costumes, cuisine and other aspects of Yushu Prefecture.
