On June 6, with the successful pouring of the last concrete, the main structure of the final railway station on the Lhasa-Nyingchi Railway—the Nyingchi Station—was officially capped.

It is reported that the total building area of Nyingchi Station is 14,986.78 square meters. The building height is 27.670 meters, and the total scale of the station is two platforms and six railway lines. The main body of the station building mainly adopts a reinforced concrete frame structure.

“For the next step, we will carry out decoration work,” Ma Silong, project manager of the Nyingchi Project Department of the China Railway Construction Engineering Group, said. The decoration of which is expected to be completed in March 2021.
